Paraffin Wax
Paraffin wax is a petroleum by-product created when crude oil is refined into gasoline. It is a white, odorless waxy solid, with a typical melting point between about 46 and 68 °C . Paraffin is the most commonly used wax for candle making and cosmetics.
NSF Chemicals offers both semi and fully refined wax with ranging Oil contents (less than 0.5% and up to 2%) and melting points (56 and 62 °C).
